ROSEWHITE 12 HOUR / 6 HOUR
:: Can I enter on the day ? YES. Late entries will be accepted at rego onsite at the Pushys Rosewhite 12 Hour on Friday May 16, 2014 (2pm-late) or Saturday May 17, 2014 (6.30am-8.30am). A Late fee of $30 per team or $10 for solo riders applies. Can friends and family camp with me at the Pushys Rosewhite 12 Hour / 6 Hour ? Yes of course. We welcome everyone at the Pushys Rosewhite 12 Hour and Pushys Rosewhite 6 Hour. What happens if no-one in my team crosses the finish line after 12 hours (9pm) ? Once a rider in your
team has
completed one lap your team will get a
result. There is no requirement
for a rider in your team to cross the line
after 9:00PM. You can send a replacement rider out on the course at any time. The replacement rider must check in at the Start/Finish tent before starting the lap. Any replacement rider must follow the exact course. No short cuts to reach stranded riders. If you are NOT the active rider then please DO NOT pass through the Timing Tent at any time (or at least cover your number and let the Timing Staff know that you are not active). Can I bring my caravan or campervan ? Yes you can. There is lots of open space for camping at the Pushys Rosewhite 12 Hour / 6 Hour. We simply ask that if you are bringing in a large vehicle that you do not park it close to the course. Are we allowed to have a camp fire ? Personal camp fires are not permitted but we will have a designated communal camp fire for all to enjoy. Will my mobile phone work at the Pushys Rosewhite 12 Hour ? There is limited Telstra 3G mobile reception at the event site. Other phone networks can not be guaranteed. What is your cancellation/refund policy ? Teams must notify us by phone or email to claim a possible refund or credit. CANCELLATION- before Saturday April 26, 2014 | refund less $10 service fee Sunday April 27, 2014 - Saturday May 3, 2014 | credit for next race or 50% refund After Sunday May 4, 2014 | sorry no refund How do I find the Pushys Rosewhite 12 Hour / 6 Hour site ? 'MTB RACE' signs will be in place from the Friday at Dederang on the Kiewa Valley Hwy, C531 (head towards Mount Beauty from Albury/Wodonga in the north) OR Ovens (just past Myrtleford towards Bright) on the Great Alpine Rd (B500) from the south. The Rosewhite 12 Hour is on Happy Valley Rd (C534) at the corner of Byers Lane. Follow the 'MTB Race' signs to the event site. Do I need to bring bike lights ? Yes, at least one of your team members must head out before sunset with a bike light fitted to your helmet and/or bike. Please make sure they are fully charged before you arrive. Lights can be charged if needed at the event site. Sunset is at 5.15pm so if you continue doing a lap just before the finish at 9pm, you will need up to an hours additional lighting power. I would like to volunteer or I have a friend or family member that can help out ? We can never have too many volunteers at an event and we encourage anyone to help us where possible. Even an hour is invaluable. Jobs may include marshalling at a checkpoint on the course (no skills required), helping with timing or other odd jobs. All volunteers will be rewarded according to how much time they can help us for. There's at least a free food and drink and possibly clothing (t-shirts) available for those who assist. Is my vehicle ok to drive into the Pushys Rosewhite 12 Hour / 6 Hour event site ? The access dirt road into the Pushys Rosewhite 12 Hour / 6 Hour event site is 3km and is not suited to vehicles with very low clearance or sports cars. Other arangements can be made for this if required. Please contact us. Can I bring my own alcohol to the event ? Sorry...NO BYO ALCOHOL is permitted at the Pushys Rosewhite 12 Hour / 6 Hour site. A licensed bar at pub prices (see menu on the ABOUT page) will be available Friday and Saturday evenings. Can I bring my dog or cat to the event ? Sorry...strictly NO pets are permitted at the Pushys Rosewhite 12 Hour / 6 Hour site. Any more Questions or Queries ?
